The Canes are extremely unlikable. Total a-hole fans, trash talking players, slimy program. Most recently robbed us of a win there last year, which is very on brand for them. Can’t stand anything about them, personally.

Miami. I have despised Thug U since the 80's before I was a Hokie fan. One of my fondest memories was when Miami played Penn State in the Fiesta Bowl for the national championship. These two teams were polar opposites and underdog PSU beat them. It was good vs evil and good won that day.

8. vols I actually respect Pitt, scUm, and WVU because they are tough, physical, hard nose and those 3 teams defined our Big East days - toughest opponents. VT is better playing those 3 teams.

recruiting is for schools like VT. Unless a HS recruit is able to play as a true FR, then the portal (aka free agency) may become more valuable for building a successful team. Particularly if fewer HS recruits are willing to wait their turn to become starters.

I dont really dislike anyone in the ACC. I hated playing East Carolina since there was no upside if we won but huge downside if we lost. It was a no win situation and never made any sense to me.
