In the NIL Era, it will be interesting to see how important instate

recruiting is for schools like VT. Unless a HS recruit is able to play as a true FR, then the portal (aka free agency) may become more valuable for building a successful team. Particularly if fewer HS recruits are willing to wait their turn to become starters.
