Think about it - they have contact on every single play of the game. Unlike
WRs, TEs, DBs, LBs, RBs &QBs. The more contact obviously the more risk of injury . A lot of violent hand to hand combat between very large, strong men happen on every single play.

We love it, gives us that much longer to evaluate kids... we work our butts off to make sure we already have great relationships with our targets through the SERTC(soon to be rebranded) but Robie and I always thought it was too early right after their Sophomore year, so late in their Junior year is perfect.

Unlike the AUSL which has centralized league management and a primary
backer, MLB, the PSL is an association of individually managed teams and I don't think it has any primary league financial backing. I hope it grows because there are just too many talented collegiate players that want to play professionally.

From afar, KC appears the most solid. They have had some pretty big crowds (several over 4,000).
I believe the Vibe has a strong travel organization along with summer softball/baseball leagues.
Atlanta is owned by former MLB All-Star Brandon Phillips and WWE wrestler Jade Cargill.

There's no real TV $$$$. And from the couple of games I saw, there isn't that big of a gate.
I'm sure the ladies can't make a living playing only softball, but where is the little money they are getting coming from?
