I’d rather break that in against VMI this year than play against an upper level team in Atlanta just to potentially get run out of the building. When you are coming off of a number of disappointing years, with a 3 win season last season, and losing to teams like ODU, there isn’t a lot of room for complaints on why we are playing VMI.

2000 - Because of the 1999 season and MV1 returning. 1999 - Because of what we had returning on defense from the 1998 season and all the hype around MV1. 2005 - That year was supposed to be the year with MV2 taking the helm full time and all the talent we had both on offense and defense. 1996 - Because of the 1995 season, beating Texas in the Sugar Bowl, and the returning talent. 2016 - The hopes Fuente was going to bring VT football back from the 2012-2015 slide. 2026 - The hopes Franklin will right the ship from the Fuente and Pry disasters. Not to mention Franklin being a big name hire and not the Ollie's Bargain Outlet "good stuff cheap" hire. There was anticipation during the TT years, but the cracks were beginning to show in the foundation which ultimately did us in after 2011. when it comes to certain weather type events. I know it’s easier to use county boundaries and issue the alert but it does make for some odd looking areas. Also, is there going to be that much difference between one county and the next, especially east of the plains where counties aren’t these large massive areas? To me some type of heat map or gradient map would be more valuable but I suspect that’s making things a bit more complex. Tornado and thunderstorm warnings make sense because it’s a projected box on where the storm is going.

Coaches always taught us to keep our heads on a swivel to prevent that very thing from happening. I miss those days of devastating hits. Might as well take off the pads and helmet and play flag football.

I'm not sure how it works today but back in the day when server admins had much more control over gaming servers, we would ban players from a server and then we would add a blanket IP ban on them to keep them from simply creating another account to cause further chaos. It wasn't perfect but it helped keep many of the problem players at bay. We never ran into an issue where someone who was in good standing had their IP blocked due to being similar to the problem player.

It could have easily been 0-6 and they looked like absolute garbage. Who would have thought they would score 3 in 39 seconds, then tie it up, then go to OT, then go to 2OT. Yeah it sucks they lost, especially on how the goal was scored but they didn’t roll over and quit. I will eat BBQ just about everywhere but the absolute worst BBQ I have eaten was in Las Vegas. In a place with great restaurants, BBQ is severely lacking.
