Tried and true. Always lifts you up when you are down.

Unlike my front passenger side window, it works.
Power window controls and their consequences have been a disaster for the human race.

I replaced the window actuator motor in the Tahoe and it wasn’t bad at all.
It was at the shop having the rear main seal replaced and the tech rolled the windows down. I guess the window motor failed at that point but instead of telling me he just used electrical tape to hold the windows up. I found out driving home when the window suddenly fell down!!!

Just imagine how the same tech. seated the new rear main seal!

I tried not to think about that. Although
Since I will be needing a new transmission soon, I will probably have them do the seal again 🫣

I tried to repair a power window issue once. Took my front passenger
door apart, couldn't fix the problem, couldn't get my door back together right. ** Edited by PhotoHokieNC at 7/20/2026, 8:00:53 AM
