when it comes to certain weather type events. I know it’s easier to use county boundaries and issue the alert but it does make for some odd looking areas. Also, is there going to be that much difference between one county and the next, especially east of the plains where counties aren’t these large massive areas? To me some type of heat map or gradient map would be more valuable but I suspect that’s making things a bit more complex. Tornado and thunderstorm warnings make sense because it’s a projected box on where the storm is going.
