I have a PHd and use voice to chat. Keep critiquing my language because it
Makes me chuckle, you probably don’t have above the high school education. I rarely edit.
The the judgment of fools and the like, don’t really concern me. I use proper grammar and all the other crap while managing the businessesI own.
I actually edited to put this. When I used to care about this board I would care more about my post. but that died and I went lazy because the way this board turned. Oh well

We have one of the best law school’s in the country and the ACC is in
Material breach by some of the people I have talked too. FOIA requests would be brutal I imagine.
But agreed, we hope to be out soon.

Looks like we are pushing a material breach angle in the contract.
The relationship is severed. A lot of stuff went on behind the scenes that is not in the public domain.

They were convinced by a person on this board that we were coming in
As a full member of a conference eventually. Over the years that has been proven to be completely false. I noticed the shift a few years back and it has gotten worse. I as a result got more combative.

We may have to spread our sports out over multiple conferences. But if you listen to the Dan Patrick interview, you would see that the relationship is broken. I’m not just speaking hot air or fan speak. Damage has been done.

He may have struggled in big games. He’s still a darn good coach. I think that’s a perfect hire.

Kelly does not recruit, that is his issue. He hates it.
Maybe calling games he is slightly better. But having lived through 12 years of Kelly I know where he lacked. LSU had the same exact issue. Kelly will get you consistent and moving forward in a healthy way. That is what he did for Notre Dame.

Franklin is MUCH better than Kelly. Franklin will recruit much better and
will have fewer gameday blunders.

This was inevitable. And this is not bitterness. He’s always been overrated
As a coach. The Notre Dame fan base screamed about this, but everybody just kept throwing up that we just aren’t a good enough school to win at. The fact is is he his own worst enemy and he’s lazy when it comes to recruitin. He lays eggs in the biggest games.
I’m not weeping for him, because this was always gonna happen and the way it was gonna end. LSU is the top three job in the country.

Eventually the mega brands will distant themselves from the others
May not leave, but money will become very uneven and concentrated at the top. The enrollment cliff is driving this also.

Two points
On a personal note I have retirement funds in the CALpers system and I see this as a stupid investment with little return.
Two, the Big 10 schools would be crazy to turn it down. Giving up 10 percent for that much cash seems like a great deal. I struggle to see how UC makes a healthy return. 24 Billion valuation is crazy and I doubt many PE firms will do that deal. Makes me wonder if CAL has to be invited .
The P-1 seems great on the surface till you realize how many schools you're cutting out.

If it is a hybrid Big/12 with a 3 game commitment than ND likely would be
content. The amount of games IMO would have to be reduced.
