Posting History (666)

This one will have a ripple effect. It affects ND and the Big Ten

I am surprised people are not seeing the effect it could have. If a Netflix or Amazon buy them than a new era is upon us.

I have always said VT was one of my favorite games. VT went into the

Wilderness for a few years ND knows the wilderness well. But with Franklin you stumbled upon a good coach. Damn good recruiting.

Franklin needs to win and he likely will. The money is secondary because

Most schools in the hunt have big donors that can pony up. Many though do not have a great coach. VT picked up a gem after PSU stupidly fired Franklin. So short sided. I hope this is the turning point for you guys. The ACC needs more balance and more top teams.

The ACC hates us- LOL

There is hope still! ** Edited by goldendomer at 5/12/2026, 12:04:32 PM

We’re not the NFL. And is socialism taking from the

Rich and giving it to people that do not deserve it. It’s pure socialism. Of course you support it because you would benefit. Go make your own money. If you feel like you have to steal from somebody to survive maybe just maybe your program should be shut down.

Most would be, like Charlton Heston said and then have to rip it from our

Our cold dead hands The thing is is if they push it too far the breakaway we’ll just happen. Which at this point may be for the best.

And so would you if you were in our shoes

But we’ve been pretty darn relevant the last few years. But most of all I know, socialism and communism does not work. And this is exactly that. ** Edited by goldendomer at 2/28/2026, 2:41:10 PM

Everybody else benefits, but not the SEC or Big Ten

For that manner it would affect Notre Dame I am fully cheering on the SEC and Big 10

This will force the breakawayβ€”if it ever shows even a glimmer of hope

moving forward. This is a risk by Cody. The breakaway seems very likely now. ** Edited by goldendomer at 2/27/2026, 2:09:01 PM

ND would be out so quick if that happens. Our strength of schedule would

Crater Fans would riot if we stayed. Duke and USF are our opponents that we played late a lot ? since when did that happen? Heck we haven’t even played Boston College that much only like 20+ times or something. Stanford is a new arrival that most Notre Dame fans want to ditch. Only way I could see that happen is if you drop the required games down to two max per year ** Edited by goldendomer at 2/15/2026, 2:04:27 PM ** Edited by goldendomer at 2/15/2026, 2:05:15 PM

The people in the suits do not care. They will play ND complaining

and getting left out on a loop. Feeding the hate brings eyeballs and ND will assume that role gladly . Hate watching works, I do it occasionally.

ESPN does not want 24 because that means other networks will come in

Therefore, they use the SEC (ND also supports this it seems) to kill the 24 plan. I do not want 24, but I want ESPn to have less power in the game.

Well, they both don't trust one another so this is a byproduct

Like two silver back gorillas flinging poo at each other. The Big Ten will likely want to expand the conference if the playoff goes 24. They have to be preparing for their next contract. ** Edited by goldendomer at 1/19/2026, 12:02:26 AM

I’m pretty sure that was Terry. I don’t mind the system.

If you have the money and the resources then let the big schools spend it. It’s the capitalist way and I am a capitalist.

ND will be fine with economics. We’re all in to a level not seen since

Holtz 87-88. We spent between 30-40 million on this roster and would spend more if talent came available. I just need to open the floodgates and let the chips fall where they may. Not an ideal system, but it is the American system. ** Edited by goldendomer at 1/18/2026, 1:23:08 AM

Bama did not belong and I would say that no matter the team. The SEC is

Experiencing a leveling of the playing field now because now it is legal to pay players. The SEC advantage is gone. Still the top conference but the gap is really narrower.

Only took a world pandemic and than you can say see I was right. Briefly

Dude you were exposed and it embarrassed you . It happens with fake insiders all the time. Especially when predicting what ND will do. I have witnessed it for 40 years and you were just another in the long line. ** Edited by goldendomer at 12/28/2025, 10:18:14 AM

Haha, moved them goalposts. I was the one that was right. I said it never

Would And you talked down to me and others. You own it, you were completely wrong. Fake insider who pretended and had a board fooled for awhile. And ever since then you went complete ND hate because they embarrassed you on your beloved. ** Edited by goldendomer at 12/28/2025, 10:07:55 AM

It’s because he was proven wrong about ND joining in full

And he was just so arrogant and confident on how correct he was and everybody else was an idiot. Ever since then it’s come crashing down. ** Edited by goldendomer at 12/28/2025, 12:05:06 AM

I know ND stands for a lot of good and does wonderful

work around the world. But the fact is they use the football program to earn money and fulfill the university mission. They need cash to do that and are really good at making it.

Ha, we stand for more than most, but still

Try to make a difference. But make no mistake we do try to make cash just like VT..

That has not been a secret, ND likes cash

And uses their football to get it. But we’re not greedy we could definitely get more.

Jim Dame Phillips at least from the Notre Dame Dame perspective

He is an awful employee that does the exact opposite of what we desire. I hope he gets fired soon
