could Nick Saban revive the Hokies ?
I look at the rumors of Nick Saban possibly wanting to get back into coaching similar to when Lou Holtz went to South Carolina.
I don’t see Saban going back to the SEC, I would assume he would prefer a job like Florida State but if somehow we won the lottery, could Nick Saban even get us to 10 wins by year 2-3?

will be 74 next fall. I know Belichick is the same age as Saban but I not sold on UNC winning a lot of games.

Recruiting would be top 20 and that alone would make us solid contenders in the ACC.

He Would never take a position that was not within that fold.
Why fight against the current, when you can just relax in your tube and float down the Money River with any one of the SEC schools, like Auburn.
Also, Saban has absolutely NOTHING to prove to anyone.
He's probably just board and looking for the school with the best golf courses.

Not bad, but the magic is gone and not enough time to regain it.
Saban was not especially great at the Xs and Os. His career was mostly centered around running vanilla with a roster 2x better than the opponent. When that got stale he relied on excellent coordinators to invigorate the offense. His greatest strength was managing a team full of Divas without it going off the rails.

College football is now professional with $$$ involved but without rules. Do you think Nick could do anything without a multimillion backer? We are hoping for a fair game in a sport that is LONG GONE.

Saban said he was sick of the NIL dealing with athletes and that hasn't changed.
And if he did come back to college football it would be to a big-time program.
