Okay, I wanted him to share the ball more. Maybe he didn't trust that his
teammates would return the ball. At Miss. he always shared the ball (in the 3 or 4 games I watched).

I certainly wanted him to stay and he obviously was well coached in high
school, but on a good team I don't think he is a starter. Just a fan's opinion.

In the NBA, if you are not quick you better be a great shooter.
I have seen college players who had great vision and passing ability but never made it to the NBA.

To be clear, I have no problem with the team's decision. Universities and
coaches are rarely loyal to players. Meaning, Uni's accepting players with no chance of receiving a meaningful degree or education, coaches pulling scholarships once a player has diminished skills due to injuries, and donors that don't care about the future of the players. It's been that way for as long as there has been competition.
I support the player' right to make decisions that they feel is the best for them.

No, I think those who are now in the portal would play in the NCAA, plus
Lawal. If Dorn could give us a few minutes, that's 9. They just did not want to do it for the NIT. School loyalty was an illusion before NIL.

Didn't mean to be a smart-ass, but who was going to play. Once you decide
to enter the the portal you are not going to play anymore. That's 4 players gone. 3 are injured and 2 are redshirts. I don't think Lawal wanted to play so he could concentrate on his pro workouts. Peterkin is playing football.
So we are left with Hammond, Johnson (who is not 100%), and Bedford.

Many coaches would take the job. They are winning at lower levels. We
just need a basketball person to make the hire. But please, not a coach married to his system.

IMHO, a few years ago, you would not be wrong. The NIT was a great way to
get more practice for next year's team. That doesn't apply with today's roster turnover. An NIT Championship mattered a lot in 1973, less so in 1995, and not at all in 2026.

The Tech job would get many coaches interested. I just hope we don't hire
another system coach. I think there are a lot of excellent coaches at the lower levels. Unfortunately, we do not have basketball people in the ADept. to make a good hire.

I think when Sands leaves, it will be his choice. His contract could be
extended one or two years. There is a lot going besides athletics at Tech that he may want to finish.

Historically, 90 % of the tickets were for donors only for all ACC schools.
Try the secondary market or go to the tournament and buy from scalpers.

The university needs a larger facility for events, entertainment and
offices. The coliseum was built when enrollment was 5,000 and the local population was about 1/10 what it is today.

If its as you say, there are a lot of upset USC alumni. When I lived in LA,
they all told me ND was their biggest rival. Not UCLA.

They just lost the USC series after 90 plus years. Keeping the USC game
was one of the reasons they gave for being an independant.

It wasn't a criticism. I haven't seen him play. They could be covering
weaknesses or he has improved his defense. Believe me, i did not want him to transfer.

I'm waiting for the comments that if we still had Collins, Wessler, and
Nickel we would win the Natty.
