He had super teams with the 2 best QBs in the country out of high school, as well as other positions, then struggled when he didn't use the transfer portal like the other big powers. At $8 mil plus per year. I’ve said this many times, Lou Holtz and Steve Spurrier could only do so much at SC and it’s just a tough place to win consistently and break into that upper tier. Always thought he should have gone to a Tulane, Appy State, or a Murray State like his Dad first before jumping into the boiling pot of the SEC. MTH
