I’m not sure honestly. Pete constantly says they recruited her as a hitter
Not pitcher but she pitched because she was needed. They’ve also mentioned she loves hitting and they try to get her bats when possible. She may enjoy a senior season getting full time hacks and not having to pitch as much

Terrible to send runner there but I do not know what is interference anymor
Last year a player without the ball couldn’t even sniff the baseline without it being called interference, now you can block 3/4 of the plate.🤷♂️

Carleigh proved wise beyond her years in that Podcast.
With the mention of NIL money she stated something to the effect that you have to be realistic with the ask, even if they give you top dollar you have to remember there needs to be enough money around to fill out the roster, otherwise the team is going to suffer.
That is a breath of fresh air knowing she understands, I just wish the majority of players thought like that. Yeah it’s nice to get a huge NIL bag but if it comes at the expense of fielding a strong team is it really worth it.
Perfect example from another sport is Tom Brady. He was never the highest paid QB by salary. He knew the team needed money to get the best OL to protect him. Without it he was nothing.

Puzzles me that any programs think the juice is worth the squeeze with them
Yeah they are talented but complete head cases who are only in it for themselves, poor teammates , have to be toxic in the wrestling room. Just a bunch of divas IMHO.

TV and streaming couldn’t get more convoluted. I have had Youtube TV
And ESPN plus for 3-4 years. So I didnt understand your statement about YouTube tv and espn plus. Evidently I have free espn+ and Disney plus, through Verizon. I just today was informed of the logistics by my wife who set everything up.😂

I use YouTube TV I’m seeing upcoming matches as ESPN Plus
If you want individual mat. But a link to ESPN 2 for what I assume is regular broadcast of the match they choose to show.

Oh yeah the walks were terrible but she did keep us scoreless through 5
Innings. Based upon how this team hits that’s a nice accomplishment. Even with the walks and runs we allowed early on you’d generally see our offense with a run or two in the earlier innings.

Unfortunately when she’s forced to play 4 against a physical opponent her
Offense suffers. I appreciate her hustle/effort but we need to get a true 4 in the portal so she can slide to the 3 spot. Score inside on occasion but mainly live in the mid-range and 3-point land.

Needs to focus on offensive side of things in the off-season. She clearly understands defensive side of the ball. And she can finish a lay up

Yep. Never understood rules for men but not for women
They charge just as good if not better than men. They also need to really do something about offensive flop fouls. Just because you contort yourself to the point your off balance and you throw the ball toward the basket as you fall, doesn’t make it a foul

She gets away with murder on the defensive end and then is protected from
Getting breathed on to heavily on the offensive end. Quite annoying to watch.
