Does anyone here have the single home game prices for games this year?
VT normally releases the cost graphic early/mid july and they haven't done so yet. I just called and they said it will be late July / early August. Way later than normal.
Anyone have better information?

Can someone explain his Colorado career path?
I see on wiki that he was hired for the 2026 season as a LB coach. You get hired to what your capabilties are, especially after his role as a not great DC. With their DC leaving for the NFL, them promoting someone who couldn't do the job last year doesn't sound like a recipe for success

Of the 4 non-confs, why JMU?
The Hokies are scheduled to open the James Franklin era on Sept. 5 against VMI at Lane Stadium, host Old Dominion on Sept. 12, and travel to Maryland on Sept. 19.
JMU is a playoff team, the other 3 aren't. Therefore JMU is harder, so drop them? Is that the admins logic?

Are championship games really needed if there is a playoff?
Just giving tying teams a share of the title and move on. At that point they only really care about going into the playoff anyways

The last time there was a ranked matchup was 1993
Coincidently enough, it was #22 VT vs #21 Indiana, we won 45-20
Beyond that, I just looked at the last several match ups, they were all 7-8 win teams. How exactly is this a top league team?

VT may actually have a decent chance
Of the 14 five-stars that PSU has ever gotten, 6 came before PF and 8 came during. Again, by comparison, in that same time frame, VT got 4. So PSU and VT may not be as far away as you may think

he didn't screw them at all
the problem is with the calender that forces coaches to make asap decisions. All hirings should only happen after all games have been played so no current teams are impacted

Who is coaching the last 2 games: Montgomery or Franklin?
I always thought it was an unspoken agreement to let the current (interim) coach finish out the season. I read an article yesterday that specifically said CJF would be coaching the last 2 games.
Any clarity on this?

[Confirmed] White smoke is present!!
Recently I have noticed when I idle for around 10-15 min before I leave work and then pull off white smoke comes out the exhaust it’s not a ton but enough to be concerning. It then goes away after about 1-2 min of driving I wish I had a video to better show it but has anyone else had this happen? If so what could it be? Current mods: -Cobb Big SF Intake -Etune (drunkmann) -INVIDIA Q300 catback

Fu/Pry were correct that more resources were needed BUT that's not an excuse for losing as much as they did. If resources are everything, explain our losses to less programs (ODU, Marshall, Liberty) as well as not great wins against them too

I disagree with UCLA being a better job
The extreme dysfunction of that administration and atheletic dept should put it near the bottom. You can't have a sentence like that and then put VT at #4 saying "the program can tout the athletics department’s renewed financial commitment". One repels coaches, the other attracts them
I'm fine with Penn State being #1 and Arkansas #2 since its SEC

That's typically what happens when a HC fails. They go back down a level to being an OC or DC per their background. Extremely telling that neither Fuente and Corny are employed at the college or NFL level. Fuente is now on radio, corny is in HS. What a joke to have years wasted with them at the helm

The article states that Indiana (I think pre-JMUs Curt) offered him an analyst role but he declined. Besides that, I don't see any other programs offering him even an interview nor have I read about any. Such a waste at VT, he likes XOs but not recruiting? Cools have fun with your 6-6 seasons.

Just called the VT Ticket office.
They said they get the spreadsheet around June, so to call back then.

They just called me back. They still don't have the PUBLIC facing cost, but here is the breakdown of a season ticket and how much each game costs.
As you can see, Wofford is the cheapest, ODU a bit more expensive, vandy/wake/cal/lolville being the same price, and miami is priced super higher. It's a given that public prices will mirror this setup

When will single football game prices be announced?
I am a season ticket holder and looking to sell my tickets (no longer on this forum, obviously). Past buyers are hitting me up, but I can't/won't be accepting peoples money until I know how much each home game costs.
Is there a deadline posted of when/where VT will be releasing this info?

Logan Thomas traded to the 49ers
This happened a week ago, surprised no threads already (to my knowledge). He's there for a 1 year deal to back up George Kittle. Personally, I miss him being on the redskins, but I'm glad he's on a great team now. Good for him. Terms were not disclosed.
