6'6 can shoot the ball well and very athletic. Keep him from putting the ball on the floor too much and he could be a steal.

that any revenue sport, really any sport, goes without while the AD is paid an exhorbitant amount having gutted the fundraising structure and making little to no effort, despite offers of help, to actually rebuild it.

fire the AD and several of the dead weight staff and redeploy the salary savings to support both programs. It was not about picking between sports.

Maybe, I'm wrong. But I don't think our fundraising structure was ever very good. I'm unaware of him destroying what we had, he just did not make it better as he should have. There's lots of room for improvement, but that's always been the case.

educate yourself further. The post did not say that what was before was necessarily great but, there was structure there which was gutted and, more importantly, nothing was done to rebuild and help that was offered was declined without explanation or other demonstrated progress.

Surprising athleticism. If his 3 pt stroke translates to power conference basketball it could def be a steal. 1-2 dribble guy, a longer Jaden Schutt with a bit more athleticism would be a ceiling perhaps. Bring me a hard nosed mentality young man and I can get on board. Looking for undervalued players who will exceed their value is critical in a year where you need to account for every single dollar you spend. You nailed that aspect.

but Johnson, Hammond and Hansberry were the 3 on our squad last season who have it in spades. I always relate it back to your praise for Jamon Gordon back in the day. TJ has some of that, to me. I know others on here strongly disagree, and point exclusively to metrics, but very glad to see those 3 and let's build from there.

That I personally look for in any prospect. And yes, I consider toughness a skill and not an intangible. I am unyielding on that trait and would never recommend a player to any client that was lacking in that specific area

Year at Auburn. After three seasons at D2 University of Alabama Huntsville.
He averaged 9.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, shooting 54.4% from the field and 71.8% from the free-throw line over 38 games. He was a key contributor in the NCAA Tournament, recording a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds) against Houston.

The best D2 players and good D1 players are relatively the same. The difference in D2 and D1 is the depth of talent.
Wes Enis was someone VT recruited last season out of D2...he averaged 16ppg for USF this year
