Posting History (611)

2001 (I think) Syracuse was so cold. At Stanford was quite steamy.

Never went to our seats at Stanford. No way were we going to sit in the sun. We watched from the concourse.

So they are only boycotting certain Public Schools??? No Miami or Vandy.

Last I checked they were in Florida and Tennessee respectively. GT is in Georgia not listed. And UCF and USF are also in a named state and play at sports.

Not according to the committee’s comments about hotejs.

Unless that parameter magically goes away if we weren’t a bubble team but solidly in the field like a top 20 or 12 seed.

Was thinking the same thing.

Sounds like VT will almost always have a conflict with timing of Commencement. Additionally, is it stated in the bid guidelines that hotels must be within 45 minutes and 30 miles? If known, why even submit a bid if only hotels available are in Salem or Roanoke? So what’s the committee going to do next year when VT is a solid 8 seed? They can’t deny a legit high seed hosting because the only hotels available are more than 45 minutes away.

I’m going to go with his desire to play point instead of shooting guard as

the reason for not living up to our (VT fans) expectations. I think he’ll be much more productive as a shooting guard who occasionally runs point.

Don’t see why that’s an issue. He would be on the opposing team…

It’s not like he spent multiple years here and he’s at unc as a grad student. ** Edited by D-Day at 4/13/2026, 10:00:29 AM

I present to you Chaney Johnson. 6’8” forward played in all 38 games last

Year at Auburn. After three seasons at D2 University of Alabama Huntsville. He averaged 9.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, shooting 54.4% from the field and 71.8% from the free-throw line over 38 games. He was a key contributor in the NCAA Tournament, recording a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds) against Houston.

I didn’t say Tour de Flanders. But I thought it was clear I was going for clever.

Extended elbow to get Nelson on her heels and then drive right into her.

Terrible officiating. But it is consistent for the women’s game. ** Edited by D-Day at 3/1/2026, 1:19:59 PM
