ACC was not getting two teams in CFP. UM was intentionally ranked low so

they could be ranked just low enough to keep them out of CFP if UVa won. With Duke’s win, committee will slide the “U” up to be in CFP. I.e., CFP committee was only going to include one ACC team regardless of today’s games.

On 12/4/24, I posted "ACC will get 4 teams in NCAA's & 4th will be a gift."

After ACC's, I thought UNC would be the 4th ACC team for various oft-stated reasons, but I also thought the committee would need to look for any reason possible to get at least four teams from the mighty ACC.
