Stewart's quickness and strength remind me of freshman, Mehki. Yes, Mehki benefitted from a redshirt BUT McFadden allowed him to take that shirt. We don't have McFadden level capability at 197.
Catka's redshirt has been very productive. With a little luck he'll be in the blood round where anything can happen.

1 - Will the staff be emphasizing any tactics or strength & training practices leading up to next season? Coach Robie mentioned pushing the room to get better on the bottom during his TSL podcast
2 - Without going into specifics, how big of a problem is poaching in college wrestling? There have been rumors linking a couple top programs to recruiting wrestlers at other universities through intermediaries.
3 - Will the Hokies return to Cliff Keen next season?

As I told you in Detroit, Coach, my vote is for CLK in Vegas in December as well. I know it presents a few challenges, and some unforgiving mats, but I will make the sacrifice and go to Vegas to support the guys if you return... Go Hokies.

we need to new VT wrestling gear to be offered for sale...it is very hard to find and when I find it, the sizes are mostly out of stock. Hats, sweatshirts, etc would all be welcome. I had half a dozen people ask me at ACC's where I got my VT wrestling hat (that I purchased years ago) and have not been able to find another one...would love to buy more.

It seemed, pre-Tournament, like that this was Hunter’s final run. Is that accurate? Or stated another way, did he change his mind after the Tournament?
Either way, glad to have him back for what I expect will be a highly-motivated final year. I almost pity anyone he faces. (Not really).

Following up on HokieTony's post below, Is Bryce wrestling at the US Open coming up?
Are you currently expecting Bryce and Mekhi to use their full eligibility? Next year will be their 4th starting, but both have 2 years left. That's a lot of college, especially for Mekhi.
Any new athletes being brought in to SERTC in the near future? Maybe a James Green replacement? Or someone with a connection like Rivera?

9.9 to give. About how many would be on scholarship? What would typically be the highest/lowest % any individual receives?
Related, do you tend to look at recruits in scholarship categories? Like "those 2 guys are 0.5 guys, those 5 guys are 0.25 guys, "he's a full guy, etc."? Realizing that they wouldn't necessarily end up in whatever category.
