USA USA! Group Champs with one group match left.

Magical start but they will need our support eventually. Projected path to quarters looking good. ** Edited by VTDante at 6/20/2026, 2:42:29 AM

Not impressed with Paraguay. Outside of the first five minutes we dominated

when Pulisic was on the pitch. Even in the second half, we probably should have had 1-2 more goals. There were big pockets of space between their midfield and back line that we weren’t able to exploit until Reyna’s trivela. That said, Paraguay only allowed six goals in qualification. Was the moment too big for them? Last night was a joy to watch as someone who has followed USA soccer for over 30 years. It have never seen the build up, technical quality, creativity, pressing and finishing put together in a single match. They were pressing well past the 90th minute! Poch has some flexibility given the goal differential to rest Pulisic or use him as a sub especially if Australia loses today. We can earn a result against Australia without him. Get him 100% for Turkey. My favorite US WC match since Portugal β€˜02. ** Edited by VTDante at 6/13/2026, 11:34:40 AM

It’s a global feed but yes. Would rather see crowd shots of our real

fans celebrating dressed as presidents, eagles and just decked out in the red, white and blue. Executives at these major corporations are operating on an old playbook and more people are tired being bombarded by celebrity culture.

Baschamania did a U20 preview w/ plenty of Hokie love

Both predicted Aaron as the big favorite. Both like Miller to advance but lose to Robideau in best of three. Both like Burton in the best of three regardless of who advances. Konopka is a late entry at 97.

Good. This frees up more money for coaching / residential athletes.

The staff has done a great job improving roster and depth. The room would benefit more from improving the quality and quantity of coaches and training partners than a one-year rental.

That was frustrating. Why was Henson put on the clock in the 2nd?

Still learning but it looked like Caleb was attacking albeit the shots weren't threatening.

The trainer was working on his right calf during the Desanto match.

Not sure if it's related to that or the minor injury he's nursed over the past couple months. Hopefully, it's precautionary.

Baschamania published WTT brackets. Highly recommend. No login required.

The bracket UI is clean and easy to follow. Projected path feature. WTT schedule is posted.

5 for 5 fallout?

Penn State has a logjam of talent 157-174 next season with Duke, MM, Kasak, Henckel and Cunningham. James could compete for 174 next season if Duke, Kasak and MM don’t shift around to get all three in the lineup. ** Edited by VTDante at 5/8/2026, 3:26:25 PM

BWI PSU user named Diceman posted about a hammer decommitting and joining

Penn State during the week of the '25 NCAAs which ended up being James. If I remember correctly, the poster mentioned that James re-opened his recruitment ironically after watching Bo's recruitment and eventual commitment to Iowa. James felt he had committed too early and re-opened his recruitment. PSU and OkSU were already involved but immediately became co-leads in the James sweepstakes. Cael was able to close/overtake Taylor because of their success and resources and another major factor was James trained with a couple PSU wrestlers/commits including PJ Duke and Henckel (?) at M2 Training Center in NY. There's likely more to the story, but Diceman called the decommitment at the NCAAs prior to the news going public and has provided PSU insider information on BWI. ** Edited by VTDante at 5/6/2026, 9:48:32 AM

Basch announced on X that James Green has officially stepped down as

Nebraska assistant coach but will stay in Lincoln through the summer to train for making the world team. He "will talk about his next move soon".

Flo tweeted that we have signed up for National Duals.

Robie had mentioned on the TSL pod that we wanted to go but had to work around finals. Looks like it happened. Here are the eight teams who have committed so far: Oklahoma State Ohio State Stanford Iowa State Minnesota Virginia Tech Missouri Wyoming

Jaxon wants to go 174 which should eliminate us.

Maybe things change if he reconsiders 184. Not sure if we're still looking and have decided to go with Sergio/TJ/Bullock(?).

Burton holds on 4-3.

Carini is damn impressive and nearly scored two more TDs in the 2nd

Frayer was texting Willie during a live podcast this morning.

Bo will wrestle U20s. Melvin is wrestling the Sr. consis and U20. Also, Willie confidently mentioned Green is coming.

Henson-Kasak semis. Ed Scott close to an upset.

Revenge time for Hitman after losing at Farrell. ** Edited by VTDante at 4/24/2026, 5:38:28 PM
