If CG packs on some mass and doesn’t want to shirt, he’s probably gonna get the nod. Gorman is gonna be a good one and this might be his only realistic opportunity to start. Not sure if Weader can cut that much but might be in a similar situation as Gorman, start now or maybe never crack the line up.

The only way I see him sitting is if Noah beats him out, and 74kg would imply that he isn't planning to. If Noah can get big enough for 165, I think that's the lineup.

Has made most sense for me since season is over and also reason didn’t go hard in portal for someone at 65

The staff has done a great job improving roster and depth. The room would benefit more from improving the quality and quantity of coaches and training partners than a one-year rental.

I think CG was 17 when he stepped on campus.

Or stick with old rules. Seidel and Gaj would very obviously opt into the 5 for 5. Anyone that redshirted would want to stick with the old eligibility.

Guess that’ll be a factor the coaches will have to plan for at 157.

Very excited to see Noah compete after being on the shelf since December. Should tell us a lot about how his added bulk will impact his wrestling. If you recall at National Duals, Gaj was who was asked to take one for the team by moving up from 149 to 157, not Noah. Will be really interesting.
