No one was mad at Kenny for leaving over money
What mostly irritated folks was he didn’t bother to take the time to write a nice thank you note to the fanbase as well as thanking the old fan base in his press opener for his new job once he left
All coaches do that and it takes a real jerk not to do that based on the way the Hokie fanbase supported his teams.
I truly am not passionate about this. But he definitely acted like a jerk to fan base in leaving. No one can question that

There are a lot of reason kids leave and kids portal everywhere nowadays. 3 players doesn’t make an exodus
Tenn had the whole team portal.
I am surprised by the lack of 2 more portal pick-up’s.
