troll. If so, given an indication.
She finished in the top half of the ACC her first season after losing Strack, Amour, and others to graduation.
She finished in the top five of the ACC and made it to the NCAA in her second year.
She has made the post-season both years, has shown she can recruit..

She's made the postseason every season as a head coach.
And would have made the NCAAs with a pretty high seed during the COVID year, but obviously it got cancelled. She's made the NCAA Tournament three of the last four years, and four of her last six. On paper, she's as good or better hire as Brooks was when he was hired, since he had no Power Conference experience. And she was a better hire than Bonnie, who had no previous head coaching experience at all. So she's either (on paper) the best or second best hire we've ever made.
But I can't tell if you're trolling or not.

I like her style of coaching and enthusiasm
She is doing the best she and her coaches can with whatever resources she is given IMO. With the uptick in talent from the past two recruiting cycles I think we will improve on the court.
If only someone of means would give directed funding to women's basketball I think we would have a powerhouse.

but hanging Coach Fu out to dry and then hiring Pry and letting him hire Marve and Bowen as 1st year coordinators - OMG that was so baaaaaaad!

the program above Buzz and we have sank a bit for sure...it took him a long time to get over his "system" basketball and adapt to the new frontier - again IMHO - but he is a great VT advocate and wont bring shame to VT in any way shape or form...
I hope the new VT AD provides him with what he needs to take the next step and VT makes a tourney run!

Yes, he hired CMD, a good get. He also hired her very successful predecessor, who unfortunately skipped town for bluer pastures

On drugs, that's the reason his plane crashed! Duffy is a GREAT hire! This will be her third year at Tech. Give her the time to build it and they will come. See what she has landed in the past few months. You need to have patience man. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is the WBB program! With what we have coming in this year from HS and the portal and what she has landed for next year, the sky will be the limit. By the way, her new AD graduated from Notre Dame the same year Duffy did. Just because you think it was a bad hire. doesn't mean it is. Whitt made a GREAT hire in this case!!!
