Posting History (2,819)

Is Tech in on Dube? I like what I just saw.

Looks very explosive and athletic on the mat. Good length too. Would really like to see him in maroon and orange.

Big bout in the quarters. Maximus Dhabolt (IA) vs. Mario Carini (CA).

Flo's 2 versus 3 at 175. Let's go Carini. Miller and Konopka get ranked opponents. ** Edited by dallasvt at 7/11/2026, 6:23:53 PM

I was trying to understand why. I thought the post I responded too was

saying there is some thing (like some rule or trademark issue) preventing, but I see maybe the poster was just referring to the note you mentioned.

Just watch our men so big and active

Just watch our men so big and active Support the Orange and Maroon. Let's go Techs. We know our ends and backs are stronger, With winning hopes, we fear defeat no longer. To see our team plow through the line, boys. Determined now to win or die: So give a Hokie, Hokie, Hokie, Hi, Rae, Ri, old V.P.I.

I believe 149 is Henson's best weight, but I also believe Coach Frayer

was letting us know that nothing has been finalized and they are still assessing that. Or he was just pointing out it should be a fun bout. In any case, I am looking forward to the season.

But at some point I think we have to acknowledge that Tech's SOS

probably played a role in the offensive stats. I will say playing an SEC team at home in the NCAAT means you start the game in a hole in my opinion.

I have had an issue with their celebrations twice. Both times I think it

was the same player, and both times she made contact with a Tech player while celebrating: once at home during live action and once at second while glove was being applied (she was already on the bag).

I do think that ump is giving a bigger strike zone to LSU on average.

However, I also think LSU pitch calls are doing a better job of taking advantage of what appears to be the zone. Or maybe it is LSU hitting their spots better. I think it is probably just that I really know nothing about it and I am venting on a message board.

Not getting any calls, especially on the low ones. This ump seems to have a

wide zone but not a low or high one. I think pitch calls should try to take advantage of what the ump calls.

Triple response for double elimination.

Meant to post under your third time is the charm post. ** Edited by dallasvt at 5/16/2026, 10:27:24 PM
