I was surprised at how much Google Earth was used by folks…
working at my state agency. I had assumed that they had much better GIS mapping that they used for their purposes, like we see in TV shows like CSI. There is a good GIS in place, but the common user just opens google earth when needing a quick reference.
The AI ability to fake something on a map, making it look really good, would be a concern.

Glad he's okay, so now I can have a old man rant. A trekking pole?? In my day (gosh I'm old) we picked up a stick that was lying on the ground and used that. WTH is a trekking pole? I looked it up, and they go for $15 to $100!! SMH

I ordered a battery backup for CPAP this past winter when the power...
went out for about 6 hours, beginning around 11 pm. Not a fun night. What brand/model did you get?

IMO, I don't care for the styling. But more importantly, I'm skeptical...
of all these new EV companies that are in their first attempts at making cars. Maybe they have the battery and motor figured out, and I'm sure they have a pretty touchscreen console, but what do they know about wheel bearings or roll bars? Did they use cheap bolts that will rust out in less than 5 years? Establish car companies already know how to make a car and they're less likely to go belly up with the first bad recall.
Lease is a better way to go, IMO, so you aren't stuck with a 2 ton pile of crap if it turns out the company hasn't made a good automobile and should have just kept making golf carts.
