There is only one service center in the DC area so they do get backed up and they aren’t very sophisticated in how they schedule. I have only had it in for service twice since I got it in October. The software is maturing with each release. You definitely have to have an early adopter mentality. This is my first EV so I leased it just to be safe, but it is truly fun to drive. It made my trips up and down 81 for football and bball much more enjoyable.

Really like the car and the driving experience. Concerned about issues I’ve read regarding service and software. I could overlook that but it appears there is a real chance that bankruptcy could be on the not too distant horizon.

I have had very few real issues with the software and only 2 hardware problems. Had to replace a second row seat motor and a balky rear door handle. The Saudis have put a ton of money in and seem to be solid backers, but there has been a lot of management turnover. They have struggled with the switch from tech entrepreneurs to business managers.

of all these new EV companies that are in their first attempts at making cars. Maybe they have the battery and motor figured out, and I'm sure they have a pretty touchscreen console, but what do they know about wheel bearings or roll bars? Did they use cheap bolts that will rust out in less than 5 years? Establish car companies already know how to make a car and they're less likely to go belly up with the first bad recall.
Lease is a better way to go, IMO, so you aren't stuck with a 2 ton pile of crap if it turns out the company hasn't made a good automobile and should have just kept making golf carts.

Or you could go upscale with the Lexus RZ. It appears to be the same size as the bZ, so smaller than that Lucid.
Tesla has a 3 row car, the Model Y L Premium, but it's also smaller than that Lucid.
