Certainly a risk.
I have had very few real issues with the software and only 2 hardware problems. Had to replace a second row seat motor and a balky rear door handle. The Saudis have put a ton of money in and seem to be solid backers, but there has been a lot of management turnover. They have struggled with the switch from tech entrepreneurs to business managers.

Scheduling service is tough
There is only one service center in the DC area so they do get backed up and they aren’t very sophisticated in how they schedule. I have only had it in for service twice since I got it in October. The software is maturing with each release. You definitely have to have an early adopter mentality. This is my first EV so I leased it just to be safe, but it is truly fun to drive. It made my trips up and down 81 for football and bball much more enjoyable.

Definitely send an email to the Fire Marshall.
No smoke detector is a big problem. Having a fire inspection the day before graduation might wake somebody up.

NO BAG POLICY
In an effort to reduce wait times upon entering the arena, Spectrum Center has a no bag policy, though exceptions will be made for purses smaller than 10"X10"X4". We recommend not bringing a bag/purse as they will be required to go through an x-ray machine prior to entering, which leads to longer wait times

My Mom (89) was diagnosed with Merkel a year ago
She is being treated with immunotherapy via infusion rather than chemo because, for her, the side effects were less severe. There is lots of new research in this area, but no guarantees on effectiveness.
