Help. All my smoke detectors are beeping (3 short beeps)…one was doing it
In the basement…instructions say it’s a “malfunction “ so I replaced it. It’s wired in. Now they’re all beeping. I’m going to lose my ****.

Defective and he’s sending me replacements for all of them.
Will be here in about a week.
Also said the model I just bought at target is already obsolete.
For now I just go without smoke detectors I guess.

buying First Alert, and switched over to Kidde and haven’t had any issues since.

battery life, or use one that uses a 9V battery. I ended up using ones with batteries. Just have to remember to replace the 9V battery every 6 months.
