Nailed it! Should have used that money to buy off the Goochland Board of->

Supervisors to minimize the mega-data centers in our neighborhoods....$20M would outbid the developers. ๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿ˜’ ** Edited by HOKIERIT at 7/24/2026, 8:04:45 PM ** Edited by HOKIERIT at 7/24/2026, 8:06:00 PM

To us pet owners, that is as important as having a good personal doctor! ->

We are fortunate too.. God forbid we need urgent or serious care, we also have a Hokie Vet right down the street as well. This guy left a tenure track at the VA Tech Vet School because he wanted to treat animals and not just do research and teach. He started Veterinary Referral and Critical Care (VRCC) in Manakin Sabot and we about have a wing dedicated to us by now...A GREAT vet! Glad your baby is doing well!! ** Edited by HOKIERIT at 7/22/2026, 6:46:16 PM

That is why this is a message board.. It is OPINION! Some positive, some ->

negative. If I agree with your negative post, it is positive to me, and vice versa! If something gets old or boring to me, positive OR negative, I just skip it and move on the something else. I can't say ANY post bothers me a great deal.....oh well.........

My doctor said it WAS good for you AND helps ward off dementia diseases->

like Alzheimer's according to latest guidance. Had another doctor tell me some people develop a caffeine intolerance, or something else, and HAVE to quit...Many others never do. He told me that you'd KNOW if you were one of those people and wouldn't need to ask a doctor. Said they've been trying to find something wrong with coffee for many years, and only keep coming up with benefits to MODERATE (200-300mgs daily) consumption.

You must have been REALLY hammered!!! Back then there weren't many cops->

I remember many nights when 3-4 of us would get pulled over and a cops would say, "Is ANYBODY in this car sober enough to drive home?" Some drunk in the back seat would slur.."I am ossifer", and the cop would tell us to get home! The only guy I knew who actually got a DUI (late 70's) was seriously hammered and made the cops chase him back and forth across the drillfield in his VW..THAT got him locked up.,

It is freaking HORRIBLE. It'll turn Patterson into construction gridlock>

and RUIN the east end of the County...It just keeps getting worse. Every time a surrounding county says "pump the brakes" the morons on the Goochland Board of Supervisors yell, "Come on down!". All the developers now KNOW that Goochland is a soft touch! ** Edited by HOKIERIT at 7/9/2026, 6:08:31 PM

Goochland County boy..my wife knows his parents and I've talked to his dad>

really good dude...Never met Justin, although some of my golf group have kids who played with and against him.

The way I putted today, I couldn't have gotten off 4 putts in a minute if->

I made every one. I think the hole was smaller than the golf ball. If I didn't deliberately take every put, I'd miss every one. I watch people walk up and swipe in 3 footers before they hardly stop walking. If I do that, I'm certain to miss. The only way I can play or putt well is to slow myself down at address (putts or other shots).I tend to go too fast and not concentrate....I'd have to say 10- 5 footers if we are just rapid firing...I'd miss half of them in my haste. Days like today, I was glad to be finished. I'd had ENOUGH golf. I'm gonna lay off golf ....until tomorrow morning! ** Edited by HOKIERIT at 7/6/2026, 8:09:14 PM

Never even KNEW it was called Sargassum until we started going to Anguilla>

and St Martin. Now we check the Anguilla "Sargassum Report" in the morning before deciding on our beach for the day. Luckily, there are awesome choices on all sides of the Island! It is what we used to call "seaweed", or something else? In any event, I don't envy you. It DOES stink when it comes ashore and starts rotting! Here's hoping for a change in wind direction to push it away or out to sea! ** Edited by HOKIERIT at 7/5/2026, 8:41:40 AM

Oh I know!! I kinda feel the same way. I enjoy seeing how amazing they are>

but sometimes it IS satisfying to see that they are human like us. Spieth is FAR from the only one, but his did seem to have a long-lasting effect on his career. Golf is a HARD game. What I learned early on, even at our levels, is that good golfers hit bad shots...What they rarely do is follow a bad shot with another bad shot or group of bad shots.....That is EXACTLY what Spieth did that day....he won't be the last.....

The Lounge 1 mo ago

I feel bad for Spieth. I truly believe his elite career ended the day in->

Augusta when he went from 4 up to being down after making a freaking 7 and drowning 2 balls on Number 12! I was watching the whole debacle (through binoculars of course). After the SECEIOND ball in the water, I turned away and told my buddy, "I can't watch this anymore". It was painful...He has never REALLY been the same since. Instead of back to back Masters, he has been an afterthought ever since. It really is kind of sad to me!

I bought my last set of irons w/out a 4-iron. Gym work is fine, IF ->

your swing is right...I can bench press all the guys I play with, and they all outdrive me most of the time...WAY too much tension in my swing (causing slower swing speed). ๐Ÿคฌ๐ŸŒ๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ ** Edited by HOKIERIT at 6/13/2026, 11:33:08 AM
