we have about 20 classic 70s/80s album covers framed (the frames are $5 at Michaels) in our family room.

He got a turntable a bit over a year ago. His uncle who grew up in the 60s and 70s gave him an absolute treasure trove of classic rock albums from the 60s and 70s. I also got him a few must-haves that were missing. Then we discovered about 300 albums my wife's mother inherited from her sister......mostly singers from the 50s like Sinatra, all kinds of Reader's Digest themed collections (50s Cocktail Party, Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas, Country Hits....... .).
What's hilarious is he's using my "antique" receivers and speakers I got right after graduating college. But damn if I don't get home and he's cranking out "Dear Mr Fantasy" and it sounds just incredible.

My parents would get them for me for Christmas. Spent hours in the basement playing electric football, lifting weights, etc. to those old 8 tracks. I can still hear the fade outs and fade ins.

I see them occasionally at Goodwill...
My son scours thrift shops for vinyl and I occasionally go with him. I tend to gravitate towards the DVD's as I'm more of a video buff. Rip them to a hard drive so I can play them anywhere. Up over +500 titles on my 2TB drive and haven't even taken half of the space.

to vinyl, and a very small section of CD's. So the idea of buying vinyl is mainstream enough that Target has jumped in.
I think we've gotten to where music is either streamed, purchased as an mp3, or consumers go old-school and get vinyl. CD's are dying out.
