They threw a ton of $$$ at their talent issue and had a lot of hits. Now everyone is throwing crazy money out there. Their lack of recruiting will catch up to them fast.

that typical and sad as opposed to entertainment but, that's just my opinion. ;-) The Hoos are even more delusional than normal given their "historic" season. Their attendance in Charlotte this weekend is likely to be an indicator, or red flag, of what type of actual "get" they might be for another conference.

Kentucky? Delusionally (if that's a word...) I suppose, but that would be a non-starter.
But I wasn't speculating. I was saying of the SEC openings available at the time, none were interested in Franklin other than perhaps Arkansas.

If you are trying to entice a coach do you make it public so he can squeeze you?
Look at what Florida landed. Mississippi promoted their DC, Vandy and Missouri all upped their present coaches but, PSU fans, what BIG games had either really won?
I think we got Franklin because VT and he himself felt it was the right fit. .
