A portal with no limits takes from the top and bottom simultaneously.

Your best players portal for better $$$, or competition, or better chance for championships, etc. Your players that are struggling to develop, or find minutes and are too impatient to work through it, ride the bench and learn a system until their Junior or Senior years...They can cut and run and start over somewhere else. The problem is there is no throttle, nothing to slow things down. Coaches that don't have complicated systems (or can install quickly) and live with the rent-a-player mentality will have a path to success. Not sure that's the way MY is built....or VT for that matter.

There has to be a way for season ticket holders, who KNOW they aren't going

to attend the game to "donate back" to the University so the ticket can be resold to STUDENTS for...say..$10. Marginal incremental revenue and better atmosphere. It's a digital ticket, it can all happen 24-48 hrs before tip off. I remember organizing overnight line sitters for student tickets in the late 70's.

I was there for the METRO days and it was pretty good. Wandering in the

conference wilderness for decades and living in the shadow of the ACC made program building pretty tough. BUT...we've been in the ACC for 20+ years....so no excuses.
