Evidently…the VT fan invasion of The Hill last Fall and the
subsequent rename to Tuten Hill has prompted the UVA Athletic Dept to make changes. They will be limiting access to the Hill to almost exclusively fans with a UVA connection (i.e. Students, members of their Alumni groups, kids in the kid’s club…etc…)

Roflamo- why not simply invest in a real coach
And better players instead of worrying about getting humiliated at home! ** Edited by sacramento hokie at 8/9/2024, 10:44:08 PM

They're serious. UVa will test for loyalty and emotional responses.
If you display either, you're out.

They keep trying to force people to be fans. I don't think that works...

Make it students only. Why make it harder than it is?

Why don't they just put up a fence and hide it behind some hedges?
is having people on the hill really that important? Seems like they can find a much easier solution for this.

In their boots, most if not all of us would do as well.

They limited lower'-level GA access for last season's WBB at JPJ, too.

At least we help put people in that stadium.
I guess they want more of the same. Empty seats… Empty hill… Empty stadium… ….which leads to a more pitiful product on the field. Add that all together and there are simply empty hearts in that fan base which fills my heart with joy.

Always wondered how they think that situation is not a huge risk.
No barrier to keep fans off the field? Seems like a disaster waiting to happen.

its about time....
As managing football event, I always thought UVA really didnt manage crowd control real well. IT was never a football professional event, rather a visit to the university. They had the heads in the sand on crowd control. Also, never seen UVA football event embracing kids clubs or families. Otherwards they culturally just dont get it when it comes to football. They would rather sit in the stands in the soccer/lacrosse stadium on the hill sipping a wine and just polite clap

Why would uvgay need crowd control at a football game?

Let's not forget the ugly mustard-throwing incident.
A man nearly got a concussion from that jar of dijon. ** Edited by KCHokie2 at 8/9/2024, 10:03:10 PM
