Nico to the Tar Holes
Surprised that Bellicheck would want to deal with that hot mess.

situation backfires on Nico and he has to settle for way less that he would have gotten at TN.

The most important ability is availability and his behavior at UT would seem to make that a question mark.

I am saying given his actual performance at UT to date there is a debate whether he is a 5 star and that was prior to the additional questions his behavior has raised. Ask yourself this question, does UT's actions indicate to you they believe he is a a 5-star? The question we both should be asking IMO is not whether he is a 5-star or a 4-star or whatever but, what is he really worth?

was the right thing to do is certainly debatable. Nobody knows what actually happened to facilitate his dismissal. Things couldn't have been great leading up to his sitting out. As far as anyone knows, UT could have low-balled him.
No matter. He'll find a landing spot.

deal in place, and wanted more money. And, his agent(s) were shopping him around prior to it leaking. So, I don't think UT low-balled him, they just wouldn't meet, what I understand to be, am almost doubling of his deal.

about his dad shopping him around is probably true. The whole nature of this 'NIL' nonsense has allowed situations like this to happen. He won't be the last.

asked whether he was really a 5-star. Missing one practice was just one aspect of availability, however, it sets off all sorts of alarms. Was his performance during the season and postseason 5 star otherwise? Could the rumblings about playoff performance and preparation be accurately linked to dissatisfaction with NIL? I do not think he was meaningless or not a good player before nor do I think he is definitely a 5-star now. He is a player, that for whatever reason, has likely not done himself any favors in terms of increasing his valuation and given others reasons to question his reliability and availability.
