He is history here. And looking at the thread, i hold out the possibility that:
He forced top many drives/shots and got himself in trouble
He didn't feel forced or wasn't forced to carry the team. Cattoor and others would likely beg to disagree and ask for the ball in certain games.. of course none if us are in his head to know he felt.
Filling the image of young’s type of pg at the time: murphy, pedulla, rechsteiner… it did appear he (a) could play obviously at the p4 level and (b) struggled with forced play at the p4 level
He is doing well and deserves praise for his growth from where he was then to now
We could have used his veteran leadership and scoring now.
There are lots of points in the thread and posts last year that are not mutually exclusive and can be true at the same time

As far as TOs per 40 minutes...
Both Rechsteiner and Hammond had lower numbers this year than Pedulla had last year.
If you read my article yesterday, you'll see that there was a turning point for VT's point guards and their turnover numbers, and I've got a theory as to why.

One of the things about BB teams is the meshing/coordinating of skills, and how players skills/weaknesses affect each other's performance. Imho, one of the strengths CMY is to make a team better than the sum of its parts. This year was a classic example.

Which is another reason he left. If they all get together and say
hey, good season, I'm going to *XYZ school* and know they aren't getting much in return, I'd go somewhere with a much better chance to play in the dance too with 1 year of eligibility.

complete arseholes to him, including a wish of death. Yeah, I think I'd leave an under funded program in which all of my friends/teammates are also leaving, get more money, and play closer to home too.

It was mentioned on the B10 broadcast that one of the Purdue players was getting death threats during a shooting slump early this year. That's friggin Purdue, I can't imagine what SEC and Ole Miss fans are like
