VCU new coach wins the A10. Optics are there . Vt has an issue with Leadership to establish a basketball program. We keep saying NIL NIL NIL is the issue . VCU never missed a beat and keeps getting to the NCAA . I'm not saying fire MY but am saying we need a top notch AD that can build , mobilize the VT nation. Babcock not the guy! Last week Babcock stated he is very satisfied where the basketball program is. Keep ramping the pressure on leadership change!!

Numerous Messages here indicate we cannot compete in basketball within the ACC because of blah blah; if we can't compete , we need to have a serious discussion the viability to be in the ACC. Going to take great leadership to transform this Institution. It's time! When a team punt to not play in the NIT we see a vacuum in leadership. When you look at UVA you have great leadership seeking solutions. Results are showing! UVA AD a leader from a proven winning program Georgia. Stop the BS about $$ invested at UVA, time for new leadership to energize this fan base. We call ourselves the flag ship program in the State Not so fast! Let's make changes Tech!!

When Babcock stated last week he was very happy with the direction of the basketball program, then I knew this program will live in internal mediocrity!

Time to put pressure on Administration like last year!!

When will VT let Babcock go? No changes until Babcock goes!!! When the AD states he likes where the program is heading ; says alot about why we continue to flounder. Leadership must change .

About the Hokie Club ? Soliciting funding Does the organization have any fun raising apparatus ? Clearly lack of leadership. We have team up there not engage just reading TSL everyday! When will Leadership change ?

Look at UVA ! Carla clearly has walked all over Babcock . She fought and build : 1) Football transformation 2) Basketball men transition from Bennett to Od 3) UVA women's Basketball 4) Women's Softball 5) Baseball transformation from a previous historical coach l to now. Top 5 program again! Just incredible what she has done at UVA Look at VT : Do we ever hear from Babcock and Leaders . Very sad ! God bless Franklin he is trying and hope he doesn't wake up to say I can't do it any more: Again we need big changes : Need new vision , new energies, leadership! My hats off to UVA leadership building a formidable Athletic Department!! Someone needs to do a study VT athletics vs UVa , two different approaches and why one excelling other one continues to get out of its own way. I thought we would see changes faster with Franklin entrance but it hasn't happened! Culture is entrenched, control from the few is entrenched . Will take a Herculean effort to transform VT.

Has not demonstrated he cannot coach with better talent. In fact looked at the results of players moved on from VT. Very successful! I will hold ! No extension Don't fire a nice guy but let it run out and begin the process to figure how to make this program successful. Stop looking for a bargain and a diamond in the rough.

When was last time VT had a p1 coaching staff. VT looking for a diamond in the rough. (A bargain) If we are saying we cant compete, stop funding and paying a Wofford coach $4.0 mil a year and divert resouces to ???? Ok volleyball.lol Gee . We are feeling the impact of weak Leadership and Vision from the AD to BOV in Athletics. Nc state fires a coach with a buyout of $ 10 million , hires a terrific coach and can maintain a tremendous programs in all sports. Are we saying we cannot compete in resources with the likes of nc state.? If so, we seriously need to get out of ACC and move to ODU level of support . Of course I dont believe it. All about Leadership ! In brace change and communicate our Vision! The sky will not fall without MY.
