None of the chasing teams are consistent. Frustrating but exciting to have
some competitiveness for playoff spots. The freaking Red Sox seem to be the team to figure it out. Digging themselves out a little like that Nats did the year they won the WS.

Depressing MLB "trade rumor" article. if the Tigers dump Skubal and he goes
to the Dodgers, MLB will be unwatchable. Also, O's considering moving Rutchman and Holliday while keeping Henderson?? Geez. I'm hoping the O's stand pat and I hope the Tigers do, too. MLB needs some balance.

There was a fair amount of amputation involved. They amputated the parts of
the thigh bone, hip and hip joint that were hurting and replaced them with metal. Another downside: I keep telling people I'm just like "Steve Austin". People are so freaking young that they ask "the wrestler? How come?"

New hip +23: Walking unassisted inside. Outside using cane bc of uneven
ground, inability to walk any measurable distance just yet. Fatigue more than pain. Back to driving, too! Got the handicap parking pass so already dreaming of the perfect tailgate spot outside of Lane! May turn it in before then, as my strength returns.
IT band is an issue, causing knee pain. (not so) Funny thing is, it only hurts at night when I'm laying down. Walking around, exercising, PT, sitting at the table or at my desk, no problem. Any rate, I only wish I had done it sooner (as everyone says)

This team, man. The best part is how Holliday seems to have figured it out
Great series and a LOT of hits to, as Ben would say, " the backside".

One I actually know and I am here in time to answer! PSCI degree!
Presidential politics were always kind of rough. Wilke used this against FDR, claiming he was becoming a dictator or a king.

Le Select in St. Barts was the inspiration for that song, or at least they
seem to think so. $25 cheeseburger really should be paradise.

Officially here in Midlo over the past 72 hours we got approximately
a bucket full, from the looks of the one I Ieft on the patio that I intended to use to scoop ash out of the fireplace.

When is that parking lot ever that empty? You (not me) could hit a 5 iron
to my office from that spot.

Ok, back to work some, hence posting on TSL. Cold therapy machine humming
to my left, walker to my right. Can't figure a way to elevate the leg and still be productive on the laptop so sitting at the kitchen table w/ a one hour alarm. Get up every hour, move around, elevate for 15 minutes. Not too bad.
Pro tip: stool softeners are not for the weak and especially not for the slow.

Actually need to do the opposite. As said above, keep moving! No tennis
of course or anything fun for awhile but Iâll get there.

Thanks for the well wishes and advice. Biggest issue is boredom!! So far
pain and swelling have been controlled. Less pain than before the hip replacement. Been moving around on the walker. Getting great care from my wife and dog too. Go Hokies!

severe osteoarthritis. I wanted a cortisone shot before going to Portugal
and the surgeon told me that he couldn't do it because there was no space in the joint anymore. Latest xray showed that I was wearing away bone so it was time.

OK, folks, beginning my journey to being bionic tomorrow a.m. If you need
a speeding car chased down or want me to jump up into a tree to rescue a cat, give me a few months and me and my soon-to-be bionic hip will be on the job. Any of you old farts with hip replacements have some advice, pass it on!
Thanks,

Soccer people: Why couldn't MEX sub for the guy that really got hurt? Was
it odd that they kept playing while they tended to that guy laying in a heap on the out of bounds line?
Funny that guys in soccer that actually get hurt don't flop around like a fish out of water.

Never been a soccer fan but this World Cup has been great. If games were
more like MEX-UK last night, I think I would watch a lot more. Of course, I'm sure these guys hit another level for WC, like pros in the playoffs of regular US sports.

Rules is rules. It's hard to resist sometimes, but the rule makes this a
lot more fun of a place to be.

We might be neighbors in a couple of years! We are in the area vetting
process now to narrow down where we want to be down there, then we'll get serious about specific properties.

Short answer: do both. The long answer is not my expertise but you can use
the will to direct the trust on how to protect assets. There can be some tax issues so I would go ahead and dig into that vast pile of MacDaddy cash and hire a trust and estates lawyer and consult an account.

No way. Pliny the Elder had to know more than this whippersnapper.

There is a whole series of them. Lonesome Dove by far the best of them but
the others are worth reading

My kids got their macbooks form the VT bookstore. Came with a "free" pair
of Beats headphones, tech support and in one instance, when my daughter had an issue, she got a loaner computer while they fixed the fan on hers.
