but Hohman beat the Stanford kid ... so there's a shot ... don't see Knop making it at 197

Both against guys he has beaten. He'll get Heller on the topside, and if he doesn't win and qualify there, he will likely get Kane for 3rd.

especially with 5 at large bids at 184 if TJ doesn't perform.

If you don't finish top 3 in ACC you probably aren't gonna do anything at nationals anyway.

He isn’t in the coaches poll or RPI. Other guys would jump him. He needs to place top 3 at ACC’s or he won’t get in.
Same thing possibly for Wollak to place 4th

Eddie 3 RPI / 5 Coaches
Connor NO RPI / 11 Coaches
Sam 11 RPI / 10 Coaches
Caleb 3 RPI / 1 Coaches
Raf 7 RPI / 9 Coaches
Mac 23 RPI / 26 Coaches
Lenox 13 RPI / 31 Coaches
TJ NO RPI / 27 Coaches
Andy 11 RPI / 14 Coaches
Jimmy 7 RPI / 13 Coaches
If TJ doesn't finish 3rd or better, he might get into the RPI, but his coaches would likely fall out...I think you are correct that there will be no at large for him if he doesn't get 3rd or better.

Between 29 and 30+. I agree that he's not a sure thing but with only 25 automatic bids it does bode better that even with an upset and bid steal or two at conference he's in decent shape to make top 33 at large. That being said go win the damn thing hahaha
Overall good news for the acc that every weight has 3+. Makes all the third place matches matter and let's a lot of guys on the bubble control their own destiny

second round (assuming he wins against UVA). If he doesn't beat Heller in the 2nd round (who will have a bye), he would have to wrestleback and win 2 more matches to get to 3rd place which would likely be against the loser of Kane and Fishback. He is going to have a tough road to wrestle four matches when we know he doesn't have the biggest tank. I think it may be beat Heller to go to the finals or bust for TJ...
