For us guys....
Have you ever waited in the foyer while your girlfriend was still in her bathroom or bedroom getting ready for your date? ;) It takes time and patience. ;)

So maybe we hear soon on our 3rd assistant and even portal news.

Of the players eligible to return, only Amoore and Strack are leaving. We have six returning players and one incoming freshman which is a very good base to build around, so Coach Duffy doesn't have to build the team around the transfer portal; she just needs to bring in players who complement what is already here. The cupboard isn't bare.

Yeah we lost recruits to Kentucky, but given Coach Brooks' history of playing a short roster and adding via the transfer portal every year, he also lost a lot of recruits who transferred out. I think Carys Baker could be a future All-American. I think Lexi Blue could be a future All-American. If Kenny Brooks was still here, what is the likelihood that he would be able to develop both those players given his history of playing a short rotation and reliance on the transfer portal. While the mix of current talent and future talent would have been incredible, I'm quite sure that a significant portion of that talent would have hit the portal anyway. Suffren hit the portal before Coach Brooks took the Kentucky job but apparently she is staying for Coach Duffy. Coach Brooks is gone and while we may lament what could've been, the cupboard isn't bare for the new coach. The cupboard looked pretty bare at Kentucky.

Still, interested in how she fleshes out the roster. We still have 5 spots open I think.

I'm just not in panic mode because I think she has something to build around. If Wenzel, Baker, Nelson and Suffren were all leaving, I'd be in panic mode (Suffren leaving the portal to stay is quite significant). I think it is quite significant that Amoore and Strack are the only ones to leave after the hiring of the new coach and it's clear they were already gone before Duffy was hired. It certainly seems that the remaining players want to play for her, especially Carleigh Wenzel. This is why I'm patient.

While I think the potential of this team could have been immense had Brooks stayed and we would have added Clara Silva, Lexi Blue, and Amelia Hassett to the mix next season; but you can't predict the impact these players would have had on the talent already here. I happen to think that Carys Baker has the potential to develop and be an All-American, but so does Lexi Blue. I would wonder if both Blue and Baker both would get enough development to co-exist without one transferring out. I would wonder if Hassett would have affected the development of incoming freshman Myah Hazleton. The legacy of Brooks is to play a limited number of players and many of his recruits transferred out. I loved the potential of the team but I doubt that all of this potential would have stayed. My guess is that Coach Duffy likes the talent here and feels she can develop it. I fully expect this team to take a step or two back next season, but that expectation was already there for me had Brooks stayed.

...and his recruits follow him there, the "losing school" should have those official visits reinstated so the new coach can host players to fill out the roster.

Sure, P2 schools surely don't care, but for everyone else, that's just more expense every time they're already trying to scrap together funds for a rebuild because their coach jilted them. Average cost to host a recruit's family for an OV is probably over $5k.

any and had to scramble to put a decent roster. Honestly, his first year work was impressive, that showed the man can coach.

a doctor was going to induce labor on a soon to be mother, that the doctor was going to “introduce”labor. I’ve got dozens and dozens of funny ones like that, and I bet you do too.

I wouldn't be surprised if we brought in some great, under the radar players (such as high quality rising sophomores who didn't get to play much).
