given that the boxy SUV is back. That Toyota is pretty sweet though.

Why'd you decide to put bullet holes in a fairly nice new vehicle?
Looking for better ventilation? Or you wanted to create a cool whistling sound once you hit 58 mph?

For me, about a week ago. I had never heard of Rivian. My son looked
it up on his phone and I was surprised that it wasn't just an obscure GM or Toyota (etc.) model, but actually a car company itself.

5/14 and 6/17.
Been reaching out to dealers across
the mid-south, to Great Lakes, to Virginia and up to NY, since mid last week. All have been taken/preordered. I was about to pull the trigger on a Land Cruiser with the Premier Package with a VA dealer when I got a call from a dealer in TN that was allocated one this morning. Some minor negotiation followed by a deposit from me - now I wait.
Will be my 4th Land Cruiser
75 FJ40
77 FJ55
92 FJ80

That's what happened with the second generation of GR-86s...and probably holds true today. I gave up on trying to buy one this past December after stumbling into a deal on a Lexus that I couldn't pass up. Would still like one, but I'm no longer "in the market."
I have a feeling these Land Cruisers will be extremely hard to find at MSRP for years to come. Forgetaboutit if you want a deal. That isn't happening anytime soon...if ever. Have a feeling gas powered vehicles will demand even higher premiums once the federal government forces manufacturers into strictly EV production.

Love it!
I really like the round headlights over the more modern "LED headlight" look.

Package with a dealer in VA. She called the house phone by mistake and as I listened to the voicemail, I got a call from a TN dealer, on my cellphone, that got a new allocation of a First Edition this morning. He remembered me reaching out over the weekend and called me first. đđģ

Iâm considering both so interested in your opinion. FYI: had a 2013 (actually bought in 2012) Sonata that died a month ago. Engine seized; known weakness for that car. Kind of has me hesitant but the Tellurides/Palisades are very, very nice.
