Nor should he be. Lawal out multiple games, Johnson out multiple games, Neo in a huge freshman slump, which was evident. Hansberry out a couple games with the flu.

I went to the UVa-Maryland game
back when Maryland won the Natty with Juan Dixon and that group. Juan's mother had died of a crack cocaine overdose years prior. UVa fans were chanting "Crackhead Mother" every time he did anything. If I remember correctly, he lit them up for a ton of points. It was unfathomable to me that people could say crap like that.

Im giving myself 8 weeks in Pinehurst, as I'll be joining there for 2026 as a non-resident member. All courses at my disposal except #10. 8wks (I'll do one week intervals) is what is "allowed" for this type of membership, but, I'll take it.

Last year was the tipping point honestly
Dude (Pry) had all those future NFL guys and we almost regressed compared to what we did in 2023. Last year should have been a 9 win season. 8 at the very least.

Any of you lounge cats ever had hernia?
Cause I got one. Thought it was a kidney stone, which ive had multiple times. This one was different. Got a CT scan....bam....hernia. Ive got the Greene Hills Member/Guest this weekend and the Chville City Championship next weekend. Swung a little today and didnt bother me too much. Also, they gave me "wrap" to keep things tight.

Just getting back from a really good golf trip
in Iowa. Play Des Moines CC, where theyve had a Solheim Cup, Elmcrest CC, which is Zach Johnson's home course, Davenport CC, and Cedar Rapids CC, which was just phenomenal. Some REALLY good golf in Iowa, which I wasnt expecting honestly. Pic here is Davenport #9 and #16. Great golf holes.

I fairness to the rules officials
When he took his stance, no water was appearing around his feet. Granted, I would be pissed too, and wanted relief, but, the ruling was the right call based on what I stated earlier. If you remember on #10, Adam Scott took a drop because water was clearly around his feet.

Pretty damn cool seeing
a "kid" my son played baseball with at Albemarle HS and, who I caddied for in the VSGA Amateur at Bayville in VA Beach, playing in the PGA Championship. Kid finally got his stuff together mentally and I cant be happier for him. He's a teaching pro out at VA Beach National and he has his own teaching facility at his house. Golf Channel did a little feature on him and Golf Digest has a nice write up on him out now. (Robbie)Rupe Taylor is his name. Golf course is going to be too big for him, but hell....he made it there. So proud of him. Dude had a rough upbringing.

Everybody seems to be overseeding with rye grass this year down there. Looks like those desert courses on TV. Green fairways, and dormant bermuda for the rough. OBGC was no exception.

Saw this dude last week
at Oyster Bay when I was in Myrtle Beach on a golf excursion. Some of the biggest gators ive ever seen on a course...saw another one a few holes earlier that was bigger than this one. Just massive.

They cant. Ballyhack is now part
of the Dormie Network which is like its own little version of a conglomerate of high end courses. Also...the practice facility at Ballyhack isnt very good. Bowen Sargent, at UVa made sure they (Davis Love and the money people) put in an area they could work on their short game on. 100yds and in. Its vitale to a team and their success

3 for the River Course if you
count the part time use of Radfords teams. They practice there as much as they do the other course. I know this because the Radford Womens coach is a really good bud. Also, it helps when you have a few huge donors build you a new course, complete with its own facility at the opposite end of the range, like UVa did. Complete with a nutrition/weight and sports psychology rooms in it. Bowen Sargent is another good friend and ive seen the inside of that thing more than a few times. Every bay has a Trackman, which aint cheap (20-25k per) Heaters, to practice thru the winter, you name it. Radfords teams has bays, but, they are on campus and its just that. Nothing more.

Got a buddy who takes me to Merion
every year. He's Lead Council for Lincoln Financial. Dude can drive anything he wants, and swears he'll keep buying the Genesis 70 or 80. He's got the 70 now. He LOVES it.

Ehhhh. He hustles and provides depth
And his attitude is amazing. Love him for those attributes, but, he's not quite ACC level IMO. He's just got to keep grinding and doing what he does.
