What’s the most valuable thing you’ve ever won?
My family won a car at a USFL game in San Antonio during the 80s. I was just a kid, but remember it being a Dodge sedan of some type. We were visiting family and all went to the game together. The family sold the car and divided the proceeds five ways.

I even got my picture in the Franklin News-Post. (@RoswellGAHokie knows this publication, I would guess).

tourney years ago. I still have it and use it. The only problem with it is the engraving of the name "Jerry" on the side of it. My name is not Jerry!

As far as what I've won personally...hmm...not much.
The wife won some diamond ear rings. I think that was about a year ago. She didn't like that I wanted her to sell them.

honeymoon. Sadly, bought another ticket to bring my wife along and it sort of ruined the entire cruise... bait and switch pretty much started showing up on the cruise.

Took my future wife’s schedule to the bookstore and came back with $1,000 of pre-vet books.
Also won the 50/50 three separate times at the same golf tourney. More to those stories but I do t feel like typing and you don’t care.

It's funny, I've been around a while, you'd think I'd have won something worth say $100 sometime in my life but can't think of any lottery type game I've ever won.
For those of you who care, the ham was donated by Brown's Meat Market in Vienna, VA. that was a long time ago.

First time I'd won anything and basically thought only other people won stuff. I was thrilled, couldn't believe it. Had completely forgotten about that.

so being the genius that I am, I cashed out all but what I needed to pay taxes on the win and invested it in the market in February of 2020. Then COVID hit and I still haven't recovered the initial investment.
