We lived in far SW VA at the time (now retired to B’burg). Our son was a student trainer for the team at the time. We took a lot of riding pre-game about how UT would throttle us. Needless to say, we had a lot of folks who avoided us for a while after that. I believed that was the worst prepared opponent I had/have ever seen VT play. I am glad we avoided Kiffin in the coaching search. Have never been impressed with him as an individual.

-One of the tennesee fans shooting the hokie bird "the bird"
-A few drunk tennesee fans queuing up in the drink line and staying there the whole fourth quarter (after they stopped spelling drinks)
-The Tennessee QB hitting a wide open receiver over the middle only to have him drop it. Chancellor was bearing down on him!

is that it's on at the same time as Ohio State - Indiana. So I, like most football fans, will have to see who wins on the scroll at the bottom of the screen. I think the ACC game is on the CW.

Hated hearing RockyTop since we sat near their band. Funny that we did not hear much RockyTop in the second half
Close first half and with our last game against Tennessee being a huge blowout against Peyton and Stewart crew I was worried
Didn’t we shut them out in the second half???
