Thats not my expectations. Get one year of Neo on a reloaded roster and finish 8th in a mediocre conference isn’t great.
Gotta be well inside NCAA tourney with this roster.

Said Avdalas was a better shooter than Egor Demin last year from BYU who was the 8th pick in this past NBA Draft

Don’t know about starters but I definitely expect him to be on the floor, a lot, unless he struggles defensively. Offensively he was a one man assault on the basket at Delaware.

We can run out more 'different' types of lineups than we have been able to in any season I can remember at VT. I think we will spend the first 8-10 games figuring all that out and then when ACC play begins we should be able to play to different styles depending on the matchups. I agree Pasha will get his minutes but the number will be dependent on the matchups and the style CMY wants to play.

I don’t ever remember a VT roster this flexible or deep. There’s realistically 9 guys who could start for most teams and they bring a multiple of different skillsets. It’s going to be a fun season.

But it does fall in line with what another coach said about Bedford being the best wing VT had (Avdalas wasnt at VT at that point)
I think theyre serious about playing Avdalas at PG, but Im just not sold that he gets the majority of his minutes there

Good defender, would defend opposing point when he and Neo play together. Hammond would do so when he is in game with Neo

someone else is playing defense on the other team’s PG. I’d bet both Pasha and Bedford can do that.
