Our #1 priority may not be OSU/UGA’s #1 priorities, we are capable of

outbidding their #2 or #3 options financially. ** Edited by icelus at 6/9/2026, 10:14:16 AM

Tiger Woods already in addiction program for 83 times, it doesn't seem to

help. We are just so good at finding excuses. ** Edited by icelus at 4/28/2026, 6:14:49 PM

That's true for revenue sharing, not this NIL collective BS. Fans are

donating money to support players financially, it's more wrong if they try to increase student fees to help with the situation. I don't think this NIL thing is sustaintable.

CMY was not making much money until he joined VT a few years ago, he was

basically making engineer level salary at Wofford. I am sure he is in good position financially now, but would a normal engineer walk away from a $3MM/yr salary job voluntarily? Of course, most people would want to stick to that job as long as they can. Tony Bennett made much more money and had a much more succesful career than that of CMY before he retired, even so, walking away like that is still rare.

Unfortunately once he ran out of transfers from his best Wofford team in 30

years, our VT team went south. He will coach out of his current contract and retire.

How about the decision to hire Chris Marve, which part of Marve looked like

a DC at power 4 level? It's Ok to admit you are horrible as a HC and just move on.

This team plays so scared last few minutes, Syracuse scored 15 points in

last 62 seconds. Just play your normal defense!!!! If you foul, foul. What's the big deal? This is about coaching

We were also up by 5 points vs. UVA in the 2nd OT with 14 seconds to go

and was forced into 3rd OT. Yes, this is about habit, not an accident. CMY has to coach better.

I see we are using a different criteria here, you were talking about

possibility of being drafted while I was referring to making a 15-player standard roster and even some meaningful minutes in NBA. Yes, agreed with you Lawal has a chance of been drafted if he has a great ACC season.

To me, it's prett simple. Lawal won't be a star player in nba, meaning he

will have to do those other things exetremly well to suvive NBA long term and he hasn't shown me he can do that even in college. At 6'8'', he is just too short (3'' shorter than Larry Sanders) to be a rim protector in NBA. He doesn't play great defense and has limited defensive flexibility guarding different positions. He is a below average shooter and passer, meaning he can't be used as a space 4 or a pivot point for the 2nd unit. There may be more NBA teams willing to bet on him if he were 2-3'' higher, but NBA in general has very low interest in these senior players. Lawal is a good college player, but I just don't see him survive NBA long term.

this article is based on who PSU will try to keep, not who wants to stay

It's not PSU's decision at this point. I would expect postion groups that lost their position coaches especially to VT will take a big hit.

This ND thing is hilarious. Committee always put ND ahead of Miami even

on Tuesday because they were so ready to dump Miami and let ND in when UVA won the ACC championship. Well, UVA lost and this back fired on their ASS, and committee had to explain why they flipped between ND and Miami when both teams sit on the couch watching football this weekend. Yes, it didn’t make sense to flip at that time, but ND was ranked higher only because they could have a BS reason to let them in ahead of Miami if UVA wins.
