...well said...Seidel so focused and confident...Sasso still getting there.

adrenaline dump was a surprise, but he'll learn to turn nervous energy to his favor. had a great year

Sasso and Seidel interviews on Flow

imho... watch Sonny 1st then Seidel..great stuff from both

He's behind 2 seniors Smith (74) and Fishback (84) both prob won't wrestle

full seasons. So we could see Gage in tourneys and a few duals. That is if he is academically eligible and wrestles well enough. Hope he succeeds after a character building rough start.

Read World Team members are provided health insurance as well, and

curious if RTCs or schools like Tech provide health insurance for its athletes. So many injuries and surgeries in this sport. Never seen the topic covered before.

If he won vs Robideau he would be a World Team member with its benefits

Supporting dollars, events and training with the team, Maybe all that time thru October was too much of a commitment. Just guessing, wish him best.

Good question. Not easy. Had to meet one of the criteria below

Top 8 and 3.00 GPA National Qualifier and 3.2 GPA Conference qualifier and 3.5 GPA 15 matches with 60% win record and 3.5 GPA

Down 9-6 Melvin waits 2 min and attacks w 13 sec left

nobody does that because no one would get away with a win. That was insane. Melvin...stop playing with your food and eat your dinner.

Funny thing, Johnny postponed his big "announcement" last week on X,

figure it was to coach at Cornell. Was there a Hokie approach that caused Yianni's delay?? btw..Do we need Yianni if we already have James Green? This is alot more fun than last yr either way..

US Open 4/23 in Vegas: Green and Bryce at 74kg, Henson at 70 kg

With so many young hammers at Tech who have both folk and freestyle ambitions, James is an incredible choice to help coach them. Gorman, Seidel, Bo, Melvin etc If you get Flo here is a stirring bio.

Two biggest supporters of Green are Henson and Andonian

They credit Green with helping them jump levels in their wrestling. More mature style with tuff handfighting. Green left to coach team USA and retired from freestyle wrestling due to injuries esp to his hip. Ben Askren had same issue earlier while coaching and he reccomended surgeon to James.. went well.. Green felt like new, and hit the wrestling circuit again. Been there last 2 years and coaching as well. Seems like a great guy. Be good to have him back

We can cover 165 pre Miller..184 Norman with 3 years fills a real hole.

Bidding should be epic: rumors Iowa St, Nebraska with Eise leaving , VT, maybe Okie St et al Hope: Norman from NJ, Blair Academy, Engineering major.....maybe school, closer to home, great team/future and the right offer wins the day...maybe we have past ties with him?

Maybe this?...quote from Coach Robie on TSL 2/26....

"... the one thing that I've learned, is that the more higher caliber wrestlers that we have in our room that are postgraduates, that are in there helping guys on a daily basis, man, that goes a long way. So, we've got to continue to grow our staff, and continue to bring in athletes that are here, you know, maybe they're resident athletes, they're training to make Olympic teams or world teams, but they're training alongside of our guys. And we've been fortunate Jordan Oliver has been in town, training with us on a part-time basis. That's something that we need to continue to develop with our program. It's something that we were probably lacking for a few years...." @ 24 min mark

Maybe dumb but...are mats assigned simply 1-8 down the 125 bracket and on?

And how can we get those mat #s if you fall behind (always) or watch much later....is Flo option only real time or is it saved? tx...asking for a friend...

True! Judge made him tape over Frayers name on his blue SERTC singlet!

Classic!! Caleb told the judge he didn't have another blue one...so cool...never seen that before... Congrats to Caleb and Coach Frayer

Disagree. This is about Sasso and his risky strategy of scrambling.

He invites better wrestlers into his legs and loses. If he stays upper body and conservative, he has good TDs and can ride. Thats how he beat top rated Wyoming guy. Up to Haught to force that change.

Maybe why Gonzalez Garelli and Bullock wrestling at Open

to see who wins. Pretty hopeless at 184. Sasso otoh is talent vs strategy..his strategy is terrible for 197...give up a leg and scramble works on low ranked guys but he loses to anyone near his rank. He has the talent ie beat top ranked Wyoming guy, then goes back to losing ways. This is on Haught and coaches and Sasso to change. Oh...Ando did same thing and never changed.

Match shows hi's and low's of the team so far. Must see TV..

Mehki's homecoming Ventresca Seidel Gaj Burton Desiante Mullen ooof!! Sasso and Bullock
