Any word (or inside info) on VT's suspected coaching changes?

James Green is one and Ty Walz/Eric Thompson rumored for the other

Can I throw Mekhi’s name in the hat?

I would love him as a resident athlete

I would as well but seems unlikely.
He is in NJ and you can hardly blame him for wanting to be close to home.

Agreed. It's a good RTC too.

Same
I would be a bit disappointed if he was hired to replace Haught though.

Need big size coaches for 184 to Hvys like Carini, Rocha, Konopka etc

Mekhi is competing at 190 he's plenty big
He would be a great add as an RTC addition, just don't want our 4th coach to not have any experience coaching/recruiting.

I would prefer someone with a bit more coaching experience
Look no further than the guy he would be replacing. Being a great Hokie doesn't mean you'll be a great coach. If coaching is what Mekhi wants to do, I wish him all the best and think he will find success. I would love to even see him in a position similar to Latona's here. But for Haught's position, with the talent we have and opportunity we have to win big these next few years, I want someone more proven.

Waltz and Thompson are both more proven as coaches
