I've already got him watching with me on Friday nights. He's always asking me if Caleb Venson is wrestling for us or not that night. Emphasis on the V.

Looking ahead to Stanford - Wrestlestat predicts 21-11 Stanford
I made a few tweaks to the line up and left 125 EV, 149 CG, 157 EM, 174 SD, 184 JB, 197 SS, 285 JM
133 AS
141 DC
165 RB
Virginia Tech over Stanford 20-12
Will it happen?

if they can do so without losing their redshirt. Both matches would be good measuring sticks to whether or not they wrestle this year.

Tough balancing job to get talented true freshman in the line up in tight duals while keeping starters sharp and battle tested. Guessing maybe an AS win vs Knox might all but cement him getting the starting nod, especially if he continues his bonus point streak against a top ranked dude. Not sure RB will be the starter if the cut is stil challenging as we get later in the season.

I don't think there is any doubt he's our best option, even though DC had a great offseason. Hope we can keep DC somehow he's going to be really good by the end of his career.

Especially if Bo goes 141. I think he's really talented and an AA threat, and only going to get better. He's super athletic too. Obviously you give priority to Aaron and Bo and Henson based on them being the most talented guys in the room, and this is a good problem to have, but it would really suck to lose him.

resolve roster issues. Injuries, red shirts, olympic redshirts, weight changes, etc. Transferring isn't all that it is cracked up to be, especially when you consider how close you are to a degree from your school of choice. It isn't all about wrestling ... though it seems like it is to us fans :)
heck, just look at hippolito ... transferred and then out for the season. It isn't always greener

young guys. They often ignore the realities that you mention... thinking they will be the exception.

I'm not watching any energy worrying if a kid will transfer. Just think DC is really talented and fun to watch, and I'll be a bit bummed if we can't find a spot for him here.

They’ve got more important duels on the schedule and they’ve been pretty vocal on not burning a year.

ACC seeding early and then Seidel could wrestle Oakley against UNC.
Hope Seidel and Forrest wrestle next month.
