For those screaming about Georgia's legacy,
it's ironic because those childish and ignorant comments ruin the legacy of the VT fanbase.

Queens of Cassell are now only one. GA abdicated her throne

GA will not be put into the VTHOF. Had she gone to the WNBA or just focused on the Aussie team, she would have. And maybe that’s not all that important to her. That’s fine. I love GA, and she had every right to do what she did. And I’m not mad at her. But I’m just saying, she won’t reap the lifetime Hokie recognition from the school because of her move. Is it fair? Probably not. Is Russell Wilson in the NCSU HOF? I don’t know, but I’d bet not.

us to a Final Four and an ACC regular season championship this year as well as the ACC title last year. Leaving to Kentucky no doubt takes away from the overall picture. I think it keeps her jersey or number being retired and hung in the rafters. Hall of Fame at VT is more reachable but I can also see that not happening.
I wish her nothing but the best and am thankful for her time here. Will be watching her play next year when I can.

...on these boards from what I've read (other than maybe watching her play next year). There's been very little bashing of her.

WE fill stadiums and arenas…. WE make the atmosphere. We give these kids a home that embraces them the moment they step on campus, and loyalty can make you a legend. Liz will be a legend. GA will always be a Hokie, but not a legend. It was her choice, I don’t fault her, but I also won’t celebrate her moving on.

GA turn her back on the VT fan base. She is no longer a Hokie. Do not wish any evil on her. Can not support her or her decision to leave. Do not want to talk about her anymore she is an exhokie. Same with Clara

Never mentioned in any articles, but if she gave four years and earned a degree, she fulfilled her obligation as a Hokie. Most of us, athlete or not moved on after we graduated.

at the graduation ceremony to pick up her degree. Or she may skip the ceremony and receive her degree in the mail.

that was the only class preventing her from getting her undergraduate degree at VT.

It would be great if the professor said “defend your actions auf Deutsch”
