Uecker recalled signing with the Braves organization in 1956 for a $3,000 bonus.

a couple days ago? so I've just watched some of the clips from "Major League" in the last 48 hours. Funny stuff "Listen to the roar of the crowd" sticks his microphone out of the booth to a sparsely populated grandstand...
