Well it took 5 years, but
Florida now knows how bad it hurts to be run ruled in game 3 on your home field in front of your own fans when you are one win away from the women’s college World Series. Could not happen to a better team. I feel no sympathy for them .

Many people as well as myself praised
Avery on the board yesterday. I want to take it up a notch. Had we gotten a hit in the 6th and somehow won that game, they should have carried Layton off the field on their shoulders.
That freshmen young lady pitched a phenomenal game basically shutting down as well as striking out one of the best lineups in softball. Look what she did to the 2 lead off hitters every team fears. My hat is off to her for her composure in a winner take all ACC championship game in front of a standing room only crowd. Avery Layton take a bow. You won a lot of Hokie hearts yesterday!

This team with 101 home runs played 4
times in that town and never hit a home run. Still we won 3 and were one bad pitch away from winning all 4.

Glad Aldridge moved from ss to catch in the 5th like they said,
also when 8-2 with a runner on 1st and Rachel batting they talked about yesterdays run rule and then said but it would take quite a bit more work for that to happen today. Next pitch Rachel homers and somehow they forgot it took a lot more work to run rule. Called Foster Lynch, and numerous other blunders.

For us watching on TV what happened on the
play the girl scored from second to take a one run lead. Beat the throw, throw off line, good throw and Zoe missed it, or making the tag girl knocked the ball out. Horrible Tv coverage of it and basically nothing said. Would like to hear from someone who was there.

One of the 3 pitchers to get Legette out. A liner to third and struck her out to end the inning. Probably Bree but stranger things have happened.
