Late Morning Trivia! [Blacksburg History]
We all know Smithfield Plantation is the oldest building in Blacksburg. The Second oldest house is the 1786 Log home now located on Mccoy Road. The Log Home was moved from its original plot to allow for a new building. Name the building that was built where the Log Home originally sat?

Trader Joes would be perfect there
Every Trader Joes I've visited has a postage-stamp sized parking lot and The Tech Bookstore lot fits that model.

Can you imagine if Blacksburg got a Trader Joe's before Roanoke did? A
certain segment of the Roanoke population might lose their minds.

I think Trader Joe's would do very well in Blacksburg.
