Late Morning Trivia! [Blacksburg History]
We all know Smithfield Plantation is the oldest building in Blacksburg. The Second oldest house is the 1786 Log home now located on Mccoy Road. The Log Home was moved from its original plot to allow for a new building. Name the building that was built where the Log Home originally sat?

HOKIE History at Its Best! This Log Home with an Incredible Story, was Built in 1786 by the Black family, and Once Sat Where Eggleston Hall on the Virginia Tech Campus now Sits. Second Only, to Smithfield Plantation, as the Oldest Home in Blacksburg. Transformed Back in Time with the Character of Beam Ceilings, Solid Wood Flooring, and Hand-Hewn Logs; all Displaying Historic Craftsmanship.
